Too Late – Matthew Kariatsumari
When you’re thirsty, it’s too late to think about digging a well.
“Japanese Proverb”, displayed above airport convenience store
too late traces memory across three generations, searching for what was taken and what remains. Through photography, film, textiles, objects, and inherited stories, the artists move toward one another—repairing, remembering, refusing. A gathering of beauty in the unknown, and a return to a place we’ll never truly know.
